The Timberwood Trails Tree Program has been setup to ensure that the tree-lined streets of our neighborhood into the future
Tree Choices:
- Autumn Blaze Maple, Sun Valley Maple, Red or White Oak
- Tree's will be 2" diameter and about 10-15ft tall
- Install will be done by the vendor
Rules and Requirements:
- Homeowners are responsible for removing trees. The HOA will cover the cost of the new tree.
- To qualify for a new tree, the tree had to be within 3 – 5 feet of the homes' front or side street to qualify.
- The homeowner must submit a request to timberwoodtrails@gmail.com to get on the list.
- The homeowner will have a choice of 1 of 3 trees provided by the program. The new tree must be planted within the same 3-5 feet from the street that the previous tree was. The homeowner will be given a flag to show where they want the tree planted. HOA will review locations prior to planting by the vendor (The goal is to ensure we retain the tree lined streets).
- The tree program will be funded by the HOA fees collected annually
- A homeowner must be in good standing, with all fees up to date, to qualify for the program
- If a homeowner has already removed a tree they can request a new tree by following the process noted above.
- One tree per year, per address. Once that years requests are fulfilled, and a homeowner has other trees they want replaced, we will continue through the list of requests until the budget is met for the year.
- The program will be on a first come, first serve basis. The list of requests will carry on to the following year once the budget has been reached.
- Timberwood Trails Trustees have full discretion on all program details. The program may be halted or stopped at any time if the need arises.
- Replacement will be done by the approved vendor or vendors.
- We have negotiated with a vendor to remove trees if you so desire. Removal is the homeowner’s responsibility, and you may can contact the vendor for the negotiated rate (David Killian – Spot Tree Service – 636-240-3464). You may choose your own vendor for removal, too.
